The flattened teardrop profile changes how the weight moves through the water and across the bottom, making it well suited for slow Jig Rig retrieves and presentations around soft or uneven structure.
A swivel-mounted connection allows the weight to pivot independently from the hook and bait. During the retrieve, the streamlined body lifts readily from the bottom and moves across mud, silt, shell, and irregular terrain while helping keep the bait positioned above the weight.

Connect the swivel eye to a compatible snap or split ring together with a single, offset, or double hook. Position the weight below the hook so the soft plastic can move independently above it. Use a slow drag, short lift, or controlled lift-and-fall retrieve to take advantage of the weight’s slower descent and quick rise from the bottom.
